I thought I would post this thought on this forum since it applies to both Jews and Gentiles alike...

    Dear Friends,

This morning's Nugget is a prayer that comes from the book of Zechariah chapter 8. In this passage we see  God speaking to the people of Jerusalem encouraging them and building an expectancy in their hearts and minds. In the same manner, as you read this prayer, read it as if God Himself is speaking to your heart and to your mind today.

"Let your hands be strong, you who have been hearing in these days these words... For the seed (your children, your posterity) shall be prosperous (shall experience peace, completeness, safety, and soundness). The vine shall give its fruit (be fruitful and highly productive or creative). The ground (city, inhabitants of the land- church/Synagogue) shall give her increase (become larger in quality, number or degree). And the heavens shall give their dew. I will save you, and you shall be a blessing (a source of blessing). Do not fear. Let your hands be strong (be resolute, be firm, be courageous, prevail)."

Receive this prayer for you and your household, your children, your children's children and your church/Synagogue.

May you be productive today. May you be able to function well and achieve your desired result without wasted energy or efforts!

    Have a fabulous Tuesday,

    Betsy

    Dear Friends,

I will continue on yesterday's prayer of declaration taken from Zechariah chapter 8 where God declares what He is going to do for the remnant of the people of Israel. His promise was for them and for their seed, their posterity, their future. He says: "The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there. I will save my people... I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God... I am determined to do good... you will be a blessing... do not be afraid but let your hands be strong."

In the next verses God turns from what He is going to do to what the people need to do in order to walk out this promise. And it is here where we need to pay attention if we want to walk in the flow of God's blessings. We read in verse 16 and following: "These are the things you must do; speak every man the truth with his neighbor; render the truth and pronounce the judgments or verdict that makes for peace... let none of you think or imagine or devise evil or injury in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath... embrace love, truth and peace."

Friends, here we have the blessing and what you and I need to do to walk in it. It came from the mouth of God. He is a wise God. He knows what we need and how to get it to us. I want to see the streets of my city safe for the children to play without parents being afraid of "sex" maniacs preying over their children. It can happen. As you and I adhere to the Word of the Lord and do them He will do His part!

Lord, make these words come alive in us... may we be quick to embrace love, truth, and peace!

    Have an outstanding Wednesday!
