I am hard pressed to determine wheather you are really this dense or merely pretending to be.

The incident is PERCEIVED as persecution by the religious zealots. I make no claim whatever about the facts surrounding the incident. I strongly suspect there was nothing to it beyond the obvious - a bad singer was asked to leave and then escorted out.

    BUT

The religious among us see in this event evidence of THEIR persecution. And they relish in that finding. That there was not such thing gong on is ignored. They seize on the incident as evidence of the Evil and godless world - yet again - mocking their God and their belief in that god.

And you pretend to see none of that only my over-reaction.

I'm sure it was just a typo on your part, but there is a strange irony in mis-spelling moron.

Who are all of these zealots? There was 1 single schmuck on A.I. who was escorted out.

You're trying to create a contraversy where there is none.

    Omar,

Perhaps you should create a thread that we can all sink our teeth into?  Or for me, something I can sink my blades into.   Cool

Really are you religious fanatics so desperate for evidence of your "persecution" that you create this incident?

At least find a somewhat believable "victim" to be your martyr rather than this drunk ignorant talentless example of PWT.

Hard to believe that is the best you can come up with.

Then again - maybe not. Grin

Just more proof that Christianity has become so insignificant in today's society that it's members are forced to fabricate events in order to feel important.

Did you just call the world's largest religion insignificant in today's society?

The decline of Christianity and all organized religion started in the 1950's when science became a priority in our schools. Each generation is less likely to believe in ghosts, demons, and the childish superstitions taught in the Bible.

    Not really.
The number of Catholics in the world rose by 19 million last year.

In 1998 world population was growing at 1.7 percent per year; evangelical Christianity was expanding at 2.9 percent per year. Racial-ethnic distribution: In 2000, more than 60% of Christians were Asian, African and Latin American; their percentage seems likely to increase.
