Corrigan, nice to see you again as always!  Thank you for the holiday wishes and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

BTW, do you have my eight Chanukah presents ready to go?

I have always been one to go off topic and goof around anyhow sooo.
There's no division there.. I can be friends with anyone and no one cares what religion we all are..

I think I have learned more walking away from the debates..
I don't know.. I have come to see things so differently that I sound so anti christian when i talk anymore..
I have had christians delete me from facebook as a friend because of some of the things I've said when I have offered my 2 cents on something they posted.

    What a disappointment!  Wink

BTW, in you last post, you mentioned that something has changed with you that has caused some of your friends to cease being your friend.  Do you mind stating what it was?  Just curious.  Killed a cat though  Undecided

They were on my facebook but they weren't really my friends and they deleted me over my..
    my..
Just my sarcastic remarks about the behavior of some christians.

1 deleted me because of a group that she managed or formed.. It was of a church .. She said the usual.. this is the church that has the truth and began quoting verses stating that all others are false etc..
So I said.. I am really glad there's a church out there that FINALLY has the 1 truth.. Cheesy  then I told her no church has the only truth, all churches have some truth and some they have wrong because there is no perfect church and we are all flawed.
Then I told her Christians need to work together instead of calling each other names..
The only way I knew she deleted me was I could no longer post in the comment section.. and when i clicked on her name i seen we weren't friends anymore.
    Oh well..
I'm sure we've run across that conversation a thousand times Smiley

there are alot of pastors etc.. who are playing mafia wars.
One began emailing me because he thought i spoke negative towards Jesus..
    I don't remember what I said exactly..
but I do know when the debate got difficult he left.
I don't think it was so much a comment about Jesus but more of what others believe he does.
Anyhow.. I promised God I wouldn't speak so negatively towards christians anymore.. I'll probably break that promise..

Wow, I'm impressed. You would thing I'd get at least one nasty email from a pastor, but not one. I've even implied that Jesus was .............um.............a little light afoot, if you know what I mean, and not a single nasty pastor-gram.

You don't need those shallow types anyway.

I have long found it "interesting" in that there are so many people who mouth that God is well beyond our comprehension, but then they turn around and describe in some detail what God is about and supposedly wants.

Anyhow, I've missed you and your posts as well, so don't be so "invisible", OK?

Certainly God is beyond our comprehension.  Can the pot ever fully understand the Potter?

However, where He has declared His will, one certainly can describe in some detail what God is about and wants.

    Example:

Isa 58:6-7 "No, the kind of fasting I want calls you to free those who are wrongly imprisoned and to stop oppressing those who work for you. Treat them fairly and give them what they earn. 7 I want you to share your food with the hungry and to welcome poor wanderers into your homes. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.   NLT

This scripture alone details quite a bit of what God wants and what He is about.
