Er ... eh? Are you saying that atheist/non-religious posters want you to be quiet? Or that other people do?

I'd say that as long as you're obeying the terms of service and such, there's no problem. If somebody doesn't enjoy your posts, s/he is free to move along and read other posts. And the same applies to everyone else.

Edited to add: Also, in the interest of being purely technical and annoying, I have to point out that, strictly speaking, it is impossible to be "quiet" on a message board, because we aren't making "noise." We're only using text, which is visual.

Shirley, you are the most inconsistent atheist since Darrow. 

Like him you are an atheist who believes in "god." You just have a weird (and ever changing) definition of "god."

That said...

You probably sense that there are a few people here who don't want to think much about why they believe what they believe. Critical questions are dangerous. It is why atheists are—and have always been—viewed as a threat.

I do not wish you to be quiet.

That is very insightful of you. Thank you for being so nice to me and forgiving my original misunderstanding of your character. You are a better person then I in this way.

I am working very hard on that. I have always been too nice as you know. But being so unpopular here has been a freeing experience for me here. Even ex-cheerleaders can become strong atheist woman.
