I have decided to leave B.C. for an undetermined length of time, but I'm quite certain I will return.  The reason is largely because I need to change what I'm doing here because I've become quite dissatisfied with myself.  As much as I like discussing religion and some other topics, I very much dislike arguments, and yet I've been involved with some.  It's my fault, so I can't realistically blame anyone else.

So I need to take a break and decide what I'm going to do here at B.C.

    Shalom, and take care,
    Vern

    Is it something I've said?

On what boards have you been "arguing?" You are one of the most thoughtful and thought provoking folks on either website. I mean, you're wrong a lot but ... :-)

    Howie,

It must be the political threads -- it tends to get more heated in there as opposed to religious debate, and I'm not quite sure why?

I think part of the problem is he plays the devil's advocate, and he is consequently lumped into the far leftist camp.

Thanks, Howie.  But as I explained to acumen in an e-mail to him, it wasn't him-- it was me.  As you might remember in a couple of rather heated discussions we had several years ago, I'd get too hot under the collar and then have to come back and apologize.  I blame it on my French & Indian ancestry-- started a war, you know.

    Vern:

Water under the bridge. We all have to get that stuff out of the way at first, so we can become fast friends. Don't leave.

Glad you're here, Buns. Now I can sit back and learn some Jewish stuff.
